Every cookie this site can set, named, with what it does and how long it lasts. None of them for advertising.
The short version
Two cookies come from Google Analytics and count visits. One is a 15 minute security token for the contact form. One remembers your game. A fourth group belongs to the ChatDivo chat widget in the corner of the page, which stores your conversation so it survives a page change. There is no advertising cookie, no cross-site ad tracker and nothing sold to anyone. Block the lot in your browser and every page and both games still work. This page is kept for transparency, not for search traffic.
A cookie is a small piece of text a site asks your browser to keep and send back on the next request. On Thankot.com they do three jobs and no others: count visits in aggregate, protect the contact form from automated abuse, and remember where you were in a game.
Nothing here identifies you by name, because the site has no accounts and never asks for one. The one place you can give us a name and an email address is the contact form, and that does not go into a cookie.
Google Analytics 4 runs on this site under the measurement ID
G-T0G2MVEPYK, loaded from googletagmanager.com on the live site only. It
sets _ga and _ga_T0G2MVEPYK and reports a page view each time you
open or navigate the site.
We look at it for one reason: to see which pages get shown in search results and never clicked, so we can rewrite them. We do not run Google Ads, remarketing, Google Signals or any advertising product, and Google is never sent an email address, a name or a user ID from here.
These two cookies are the only ones you can refuse without losing anything at all.
The csrf_token value is created when you submit the contact form. It is AES
encrypted, expires 15 minutes after it is issued, and contains an expiry timestamp and
nothing else. It stops a script on another site from posting the form on your behalf. The
picture code beside it is generated by our own server, not by Google reCAPTCHA, so solving it
tells no third party anything about you.
Game progress is saved by pinia-plugin-persistedstate in a first party
cookie named after the game store, set to SameSite=Strict. It stays on your
device. We do not read it on the server, log it or connect it to anything else.
There is no cookie banner on this site. Blocking cookies is done in your browser, which is a better place for the decision than a banner that nags on every visit.
Private or incognito windows drop all of them when you close the window.
If we add a tool that sets a cookie, it goes in the table on the same day, and the date at the foot of the page moves. We have no plans to add advertising, and adding it would mean rewriting this page rather than quietly extending it.
